Medicare Supplement · Plan ending in 2027
If your plan is leaving, you may have a guaranteed right to buy a Medicare Supplement.
TTY users call 711. Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM Central. There is no obligation to enroll.
A Medicare Supplement (Medigap) works alongside Original Medicare to help pay costs like deductibles and coinsurance. You can see any provider in the U.S. that accepts Medicare, with no network. If your Medicare Advantage plan is ending, Oklahoma rules give you a time-limited right to buy one without health questions.
Your plan mails you a letter if it is ending, or an Annual Notice of Change if it is being replaced. Check that letter to see which applies to you.
Under Oklahoma rule OAC 365:10-5-129.1, if your Medicare Advantage plan stops offering coverage where you live, a Medicare Supplement company can't turn you down, add a pre-existing condition exclusion or charge more because of your health for certain plans, as long as you apply in time.
It depends on your doctors, budget and prescriptions. In a call, I can explain how a Medicare Supplement with a separate Part D plan compares with other options, so you can decide what fits.
